1. Reservations
Go Galápagos Ferry coordinates reservations directly with authorized ferry operators in the Galápagos Islands with the aim of providing a simple, safe and reliable booking experience.
Once the reservation request and the corresponding payment have been received, we will verify availability with the operator and proceed with the confirmation of the service.
The reservation will be considered confirmed once the passenger has received the corresponding confirmation from Go Galápagos Ferry.
2. Availability and Refunds
If there is no availability for the requested date or departure time, the passenger may:
- Accept an available alternative, if one exists.
- Request a full refund of the amount paid.
If the passenger decides not to accept a proposed alternative or there is no availability for the requested reservation, Go Galápagos Ferry will refund 100% of the amount paid.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase.
3. Payments
Full payment will be required to process the reservation.
Available payment methods may include:
- Credit and debit cards.
- Bank transfer.
- Other payment methods indicated during the booking process.
All payments are processed through secure payment platforms.
4. Passenger Information
In order to complete a reservation, we may request the following information:
- Full name.
- Nationality.
- Passport number or identity document.
- Date of birth.
The passenger is responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information.
Go Galápagos Ferry shall not be responsible for any inconvenience caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
5. Baggage
Each passenger may carry:
- One suitcase up to 20 kg and one personal item or hand backpack.
Additional baggage will be subject to availability and may incur extra charges, which will be communicated in due time and must be paid according to the operator's conditions.
6. Changes and Cancellations
Passengers may request changes to the date, route or departure time, as well as cancellations, by contacting our customer service team.
Requests for changes must be made at least five (5) days before the departure date and will be subject to availability from the corresponding operator.
Changes will not be possible less than five (5) days before the departure date.
6.1 Voluntary Cancellations
In the event of a voluntary cancellation by the passenger, the following conditions shall apply:
- - More than fifteen (15) days before departure: 65% of the amount paid will be refunded. The remaining 35% corresponds to administrative and management expenses associated with the reservation.
- - Between fifteen (15) and five (5) days before departure: 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- - Four (4) days or less before departure: no refund will be granted.
6.2 Lack of Availability
If Go Galápagos Ferry is unable to confirm the requested reservation due to lack of availability from the operator, the passenger may:
- Accept an available alternative, if one exists.
- Request a full refund of the amount paid.
In these cases, Go Galápagos Ferry will assume the administrative and management costs associated with the reservation and will refund 100% of the amount paid.
6.3 Group Reservations
Reservations including more than eight (8) passengers will be considered group reservations.
Requests to change the date, route or departure time for group reservations must be made at least twenty (20) days before the scheduled departure date.
Cancellations and possible refunds for group reservations will be subject to the conditions of the corresponding operator and to the policies in force at the time of booking.
7. Operational Changes and Weather Conditions
Ferry schedules, itineraries and operations may be affected by:
- Weather conditions.
- Sea conditions.
- Operational reasons.
- Provisions issued by the competent authorities.
- Instructions from the Galápagos National Park.
- Force majeure events.
Passenger safety will always be the highest priority.
Go Galápagos Ferry shall not be responsible for delays or modifications caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
8. Liability
Go Galápagos Ferry acts as an intermediary between the passenger and authorized ferry operators.
Go Galápagos Ferry shall not be responsible for:
- Loss of or damage to baggage.
- Delays caused by weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control.
- Operational cancellations or modifications made by ferry operators.
- Additional expenses arising from itinerary changes.
We recommend that all passengers obtain appropriate travel insurance to cover contingencies related to their trip and baggage.
9. Data Protection
The personal data provided by passengers will be treated confidentially and used exclusively for the management of reservations and the provision of the contracted services.
